What Is Chin Filler?

Are you self-conscious about a weak chin or wish you had a better balance in your facial features? Chin filler can be used to correct a number of common concerns and is gaining popularity among our male patients. Before dermal fillers became available, implant surgery was the only way to sculpt the jawline and improve chin shape, size, and projection.

Here at Dallas Dermatology Partners, we can give you a more defined, aesthetically pleasing profile in just minutes using injectable fillers such as Radiesse, Restylane, and Juvederm Voluma. Chin filler treatment is so successful because it is customized to address your specific goals. We select the right product and dose to deliver visible improvements without pain or downtime.

Chin Filler Before & After

before and after chin filler

What does chin filler do?

Chin filler is usually composed of hyaluronic acid—a biocompatible substance that our body naturally produces. A few targeted injections can create projection, improve contours, fill in dimples and clefts, and create better facial symmetry.

Am I a good candidate for chin filler?

You may be a great candidate for a non-surgical chin augmentation with dermal filler if you want to:

  • Correct or improve jawline symmetry
  • Improve chin height, width, and projection
  • Enhance the balance of facial features
  • Correct dimples, a cleft chin, and uneven chins
  • Strengthen the appearance of a recessed chin

Why is chin filler for men so popular?

Chin filler injections are a much safer alternative to invasive surgery, with the advantage of zero downtime. Men who want to improve their jawline silhouette, fix asymmetry, or create a more masculine profile can achieve natural results without going under the knife.

Is cleft chin filler painful?

Many dermal fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, so there is minimal discomfort during the procedure. A topical numbing cream is also available. Patients can expect a pricking sensation during the injections, which only last a few minutes.

What are possible side effects?

The most common side effects after chin dimple filler are swelling around the injection site, tenderness, and bruising. The swelling normally resolves in a couple of days as the filler settles. More serious risks like infection can be mitigated by having the treatment with a board-certified dermatologist who is highly experienced in administering cosmetic injectables.

What results can I expect after chin filler?

Most chin fillers will produce immediate results, giving you a stronger profile and better lower facial definition. However, some injectable products may take a few days to show initial changes with continued improvements over the following weeks.

How long does chin enhancement filler last?

Results will depend on the filler for the chin, the dose, and your metabolism. Most chin enhancements with filler will last anywhere from 9 to 16 months.

4 Long-Term Effects of Botox

Botox has been the anti-aging treatment of choice for over 20 years. Targeted injections of the neuromodulator treat both static and dynamic wrinkles for a fresher, more youthful appearance. Its safety profile and impressive wrinkle-smoothing results have made Botox a legitimate mainstay in many skincare routines.

Because the injectable has only been used for cosmetic purposes since 2002, we are just learning about the long-term side effects of Botox. And while many of the reports are positive, one fact remains constant. It’s imperative to have the treatment done by an experienced injector and board-certified dermatologist who will monitor your results well into the future. A highly trained doctor has a solid knowledge of facial anatomy and injection techniques and will not recommend Botox treatment if there are any contraindications.

botox side effects

Botox long term side effects

1. Weakened muscles – Botox injections usually last around 4 months, so repeat injections over many years will cause the injected muscles to atrophy and get weaker. As these muscles weaken, you may start recruiting adjacent muscles to make certain facial expressions. The key to avoiding excessive muscle atrophy is by choosing a conservative Botox injector who tailors the dosage according to individual needs.

2. Prevents the development of new wrinkles – the flip side of weakened muscles is that you have essentially trained them to relax, even when you are stressed out, worried, or angry. Studies have shown that long-term Botox use prevents the development of static wrinkles, which are imprinted on the face at rest.

3. Skin may appear wavy – Some long-haul Botox users report that their skin has taken on a wavy appearance with dents and valleys over the treated muscles. If the dermatologist isn’t credentialed or trained properly, it’s easy for them to over-inject muscles, leaving contour irregularities. Wavy skin and irregular texture can be avoided by administering smaller amounts of the neuromodulator and changing the areas of injection from time to time.

4. Wrinkles don’t immediately return if you stop Botox – The long-term effects of Botox injections are still being evaluated, but one benefit is well documented. The rejuvenating effects will last long after you stop getting treatments. Why? Because the muscles being injected are relaxed and out of use. That helps slow the formation of dynamic and static wrinkles that naturally occur over time. As a result, Botox users will appear many years younger than their relative age, even if they take a break.

Experience, Education and Training Matter

Long-term Botox use– when properly administered– can prevent the development of deep facial lines. We can address any concerns you may have about the long-term side effects of Botox during your Dallas Botox appointment. We can also recommend a personalized treatment plan according to your skin type and goals.

Kybella for Buccal Fat Removal

The popularity of buccal fat removal has grown in recent years, as more people want to rid themselves of “chipmunk cheeks” to improve facial aesthetics. Buccal fat pads are found in the middle third of the cheek and generally shrink with age. However, in some people, these pads remain prominent throughout adulthood, giving a rounded or chubby appearance.

If lower cheek fullness remains bothersome in your adult years, there are new ways to correct the issue without undergoing surgery. Kybella buccal fat removal is a minimally invasive treatment that contours the lower face with a series of targeted injections.

Made of Deoxycholic acid, Kybella permanently destroys fat cells in areas where it is injected and has been FDA approved for treating submental or under chin fat. Since this is an off-label use, it’s crucial to seek Kybella buccal fat removal from board-certified doctors at Dallas Dermatology Partners.

before and after kybella

What are the Benefits of Kybella for Buccal Fat Removal?

Surgical buccal fat removal is effective but comes with a higher risk of complications and associated downtime. By contrast, Kybella for buccal fat reduction is a quick, in-office treatment with minor side effects and zero downtime.

Using ultra-fine needles, a small amount of Kybella is injected into the buccal fat pad, where it disrupts adipose cells, causing them to break down. Over the following weeks, the fat cells are naturally eliminated by the body.

Kybella for buccal fat removal offers a number of benefits:

  • Deoxycholic acid naturally occurs in the body and is not likely to cause adverse reactions
  • Minimally invasive and non-surgical treatment
  • Enhances definition of upper cheekbones
  • Slims and contours the lower face
  • Reduces excess fat without scalpels or incisions
  • Produces a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing facial shape
  • No downtime or recovery needed

Are You a Good Candidate for Buccal Fat Reduction with Kybella?

Only you and your dermatologist can decide if Kybella buccal fat removal is right for you. For many patients, age is one of the biggest factors. Since buccal fat pads tend to get smaller with time, getting this treatment may be premature if you are in your early 20s.

What Are Possible Side Effects?

The most common side effects of Kybella injections include swelling, tenderness, redness, and bruising around the treatment area. In addition, some patients may experience numbness or hardness in the injected areas. Since Kybella buccal fat removal is not yet FDA-approved, it’s imperative to get treatment with a board-certified dermatologist and experienced Kybella injector.

How many Kybella Treatments Do You Need?

Most of our patients see measurable improvements in lower cheek slimming with two or three Kybella sessions. Expect to wait two months between each buccal fat removal procedure.

When Will You See Results?

Patience is key since it takes time for the deoxycholic acid to destroy and break down fat cells. In four weeks, most people will begin to see improvements in facial contours. These enhancements will gradually continue as the body metabolizes the buccal fat cells.  The final result is visible at twelve weeks

Is Botox Good for Lip Lines?

Botox is an effective solution for relaxing wrinkles and fine lines, including those that develop on the upper and lower lips. These tiny vertical lines can be difficult to conceal and become more prominent with age.

If you want to soften those vertical wrinkles, consider the benefits of Botox for lip lines offered at Dallas Dermatology Partners. It is a powerful neuromodulator that reduces the movement of the muscle around the mouth, known as the orbicularis oris.

Injecting Botox around lips

Repetitive facial expressions, UV exposure, consistently drinking out of a straw, long-term smoking, and age-related collagen loss are the primary causes of lip lines. It is a well-known fact that smoking constricts blood vessels in the skin and accelerates free radical damage that leads to wrinkles. Fortunately, Botox for upper lip lines is a safe and trusted option for people of all ages.

Precise amounts of Botox are injected close to the orbicularis oris muscle, which blocks the nerve stimuli. The entire treatment takes around 10 minutes and entails minimal pain and zero downtime. When the neuromodulator first kicks in, the lips may feel strange or heavy for a couple of days, but this is a temporary side effect.

Botox for lip wrinkles – when will you see results?

Most people will notice their lip wrinkles softening within a week after Botox injections, though it may take up to 14 days to see full results. Our dermatologists will schedule a follow-up appointment two to three weeks later to make any additional adjustments if needed.

Since the mouth is an active muscle, Botox generally wears off faster than other areas of the face. Expect results to last anywhere from 2 to 4 months. The more often you have the injections, the longer the results last, as the muscles learn to relax.

Combining Lip Botox with other treatments

While Botox for upper lip wrinkles is great for shallow lines, dermal filler may work best for deeper wrinkles. Filler for lip lines will plump up the area, restoring volume in a natural and subtle way.

Your dermatologist will carefully inject a pliable hyaluronic acid filler superficially into the dermis so that lines are instantly smoothed without surface bumps or irregularities. We often use products from the Juvederm or Restylane family of dermal fillers.

Lasers can also treat fine lines and wrinkles around the upper and lower lips. They use light beams or pulsed energy to reveal softer, smoother skin underneath. Laser resurfacing for lip lines is slightly more invasive than Botox and will require a few days of downtime depending on the type of treatment used.

Achieve your desired results

Whether you’re seeking injectables like Botox or a laser skin procedure to minimize lip lines, it’s important to get treatment with a board-certified dermatologist who has the training and knowledge to prevent injury and undesirable outcomes. Give your skin the very best care and book your Dallas Botox appointment today.

8 Cosmetic Treatments to Get During Winter

Winter is an ideal time to rejuvenate and refresh your skin with the help of Dallas Dermatology Partners. Whether you’re dealing with areas of post-summer hyperpigmentation or want to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, winter is the perfect time for cosmetic treatments. Many of these procedures require avoiding direct UV exposure, which can hamper healing or undermine the results.

With the holidays just around the corner and the days getting shorter and cooler, now is the time to consider these minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.

Top Winter Cosmetic Procedures

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels can make you more prone to sunburn and hyperpigmentation, which is why these treatments are ideal during  winter. There are different types and strengths of chemical peels that can address common concerns such as melasma, sun spots, freckles, rough texture, uneven skin tone, and acne scars. Your objectives and skin type will dictate the potency and types of actives used.

Laser Resurfacing

Laser resurfacing works wonders for triggering the body’s collagen production but leaves the skin vulnerable to UV radiation that can hamper healing. That’s why October through March is a smart time to schedule this anti-aging treatment. We offer non-ablative fractional laser treatments that improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines, shallow acne scars, and textural irregularities.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion can produce radiant, glowing skin with no downtime, but this professional exfoliation is better suited for cooler months when the sun’s rays are not as intense. This is because the stratum corneum– the skin’s outermost layer– is gently removed. Using the patented DiamondGlow™ device, our microdermabrasion procedure infuses nourishing, medical-grade products into the skin to help improve firmness, tone, and clarity.

Microneedling

Microneedling induces the skin’s self-repair mechanism and is useful for promoting smoother, more luminous, and youthful-looking skin. With repeated treatments, you can expect dramatic results in improving skin laxity, acne scars, and bumpy texture. Winter is the perfect time for this procedure since prolonged sun exposure after microneedling can cause hyper or hypopigmentation.

BBL Photofacial

BBL Photofacials are the gold standard for treating sun-damaged skin, so it makes sense to have it done when more time is spent indoors and bundled up. Moreover, sun exposure after an IPL photofacial can increase the risk of hyperpigmentation, scarring, and other adverse results. This lunch-hour treatment uses intense pulsed light to improve skin discoloration, vascular redness, and wrinkles.

Genius RF Microneedling

Another non-invasive modality for skin rejuvenation in the fall, Genius microneedling has the added benefit of radiofrequency energy (RF) that is delivered at precise depths. The advantage of this cutting-edge technology lies in the long-term skin tightening effects. Like traditional microneedling, this treatment stimulates both collagen and elastin production to help address skin laxity. It can also improve the appearance of superficial acne scars, pore size, and fine lines. The super fine needles are coated for patient comfort and minimal trauma to the skin, which typically heals in 3-5 days.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is most effective on fair, untanned skin. It is a safe and long-term solution for removing hair or thinning the growth of unwanted hair on the face, legs, arms, and bikini area. Because sun protection is crucial to achieving optimal results, this is an excellent winter cosmetic procedure.

Sclerotherapy

Bothered by red veins on your legs? With sclerotherapy, a saline solution is injected into the spider veins, which eventually collapse and disappear. Since compression garments are mandatory for a week after the treatment, it’s best to schedule this during cooler weather.

How To Treat Marionette Lines

Cosmetic injectables are improving every year with more treatments that safely minimize wrinkles, restore volume, and turn back the hands of time. When treating marionette lines, your dermatologist may suggest dermal filler, Botox injections, or a combination of the two.

Treating Marionette Lines: Botox or Filler?

Marionette lines are the creases that run from the outer corners of the mouth downward to the chin. Caused by a variety of factors, including aging, genetic disposition, lifestyle habits, and sun exposure, these lines may develop in your 30s or 40s.
When evaluating your concerns and determining the best treatment option, our doctors will consider your aesthetic goals, skin type and elasticity, and whether you have superficial or deep marionette lines.

Choosing the Right Injectable for Marionette Lines

botox dysport injection sites

Botox for marionette lines

Botox temporarily paralyzes injected muscles, reducing contractions that cause unwanted creases and lines. When administered by an experienced Botox Dallas injector, this neuromodulator reduces the movement of the muscle that causes marionette lines to form and creates drooping corners of the mouth. In most cases, Botox as a stand-alone treatment is only suitable for extremely shallow marionette lines or proactive wrinkle prevention.

Dermal fillers for marionette lines –

Hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers are one of the most effective non-surgical treatments for marionette lines. Composed of a synthesized version of the natural substance our bodies produce to keep our skin supple and hydrated, HA-based fillers provide lasting volume and definition– visibly plumping out deep creases and folds. They come in a variety of densities and durations, allowing your dermatologist to select the right product for your specific needs.

Depending on the type of filler used and the amount injected, the results can last from 6 months to 2 years. During a dermal fillers Dallas consultation, we can outline the best treatment approach for your goals. Some of our preferred injectables for non-surgical volume restoration include Restylane, Juvederm Ultra Plus, and Radiesse.

Every patient’s needs and objectives are unique. A personal consultation with Dallas Dermatology is the best way to determine the best solution for your concerns– Juvederm or a Botox-dermal filler combination.

Why Choose Dallas Dermatology Partners?

Our team of board-certified dermatologists has extensive experience in cosmetic treatments using FDA-approved injectables. Utilizing our in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and skillful injection techniques, we can provide subtle, natural-looking results when treating marionette lines.

We can help you achieve a more youthful, rested look without appearing “overdone.” Take the next step toward restoring your confidence, and call today for your Dallas dermatology appointment!

Choosing the Right Combination of Injectables for Your Goals

Injectables offer versatile and effective solutions for achieving cosmetic goals. From smoothing fine lines to adding volume and contouring facial features, injectables such as Botox, dermal fillers, and collagen-boosting treatments have become key tools in aesthetic dermatology. But with so many options available, how do you choose the right combination to get the best results?

At Dallas Dermatology Partners, we specialize in tailoring a combination of injectables that align with your unique beauty goals while addressing multiple areas of concern in one session. Schedule an appointment today, and our dermatologists will create the perfect treatment plan.

Pairing the Different Types of Injectables

As noted, the most effective way to reach your aesthetic goals is through combination therapy—using multiple injectables to achieve more comprehensive and natural-looking results. For instance, pairing Botox with fillers can smooth wrinkles while adding volume, which couldn’t be achieved with just one type of injectable alone.

The first step to pairing your cosmetic injections is understanding what each one does. Injectables are categorized into different types based on their function:

  • Botox and Dysport: These neurotoxins are ideal for softening fine lines and wrinkles, particularly in areas like the forehead and around the eyes. They work by relaxing the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, leading to a smoother, more youthful appearance. Botox or Dysport is often the first step for those looking for a lifted and refreshed look.
  • Dermal Fillers: These injectables restore lost volume, plump areas like the cheeks and lips, and balance facial features. Hyaluronic acid fillers, for example, are often used to enhance the lips, add volume to the cheeks, and contour the jawline. Whether addressing age-related volume loss or enhancing natural features, fillers can be customized to your specific goals.
  • Sculptra: Known for its long-term anti-aging benefits, Sculptra helps stimulate collagen production, leading to gradual yet significant improvements in skin firmness and texture. This injectable is particularly effective for those looking to build a solid foundation for youthful skin over time, with touch-ups using traditional fillers as needed.
  • SKINVIVE: Perfect for those seeking a hydrated, dewy glow, SKINVIVE provides a boost of moisture that leaves skin looking radiant. This treatment is popular among younger patients who want to maintain healthy, glowing skin without drastic changes.

Adding in the Power of Laser Therapy

In addition to injectables, you can add the power of laser therapy. At Dallas Dermatology Partners, we frequently combine injectables with other advanced treatments, such as lasers, to achieve optimal results.

For younger clients with redness or pigmentation, a Moxi laser paired with BBL therapy can deliver radiant, even-toned skin. For more mature clients, a combination of Halo laser and injectables works wonders to smooth fine lines and improve skin texture. Genius microneedling is another excellent addition for tightening skin and minimizing pore size, particularly for patients seeking a more defined, youthful appearance.

Customized Treatment for Every Patient

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to injectables. Each client’s skin is unique. We take the time to understand your specific concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan. Whether you’re looking to subtly enhance your natural features or dramatically rejuvenate your appearance, we can address multiple areas of concern in one treatment session.

Is Accutane Worth The Risk?

Accutane is a powerful medication that is known for its ability to treat and clear nearly all forms of acne, particularly severe cases of acne that don’t respond to other treatments. It is the closest medication we have to a cure for acne. Because of this, many patients, dermatologists, and other physicians find that treatment is often worth the risk of potential adverse effects. In addition, most patients who complete a full course of Accutane never get acne again. However, of there is a strong genetic predisposition to acne or severe acne, a second or even a third course may be needed after several years.

However, determining whether Accutane is right for you ultimately comes does to what risks you and your physician feel are worth the benefits and relief of effectively treating and clearing your acne.

hormonal acne treatment

How does Accutane work?

Accutane is a vitamin A derivative taken orally. It is typically prescribed to treat moderate to severe acne, particularly when scarring is present, or acne that has not responded well to other treatments. It is also used in some cases to prevent skin cancer and treat other forms of cancer.

The main ingredient of Accutane is Isotretinoin, a synthetic Vitamin A (retinoid), and works by targeting multiple factors that contribute to acne development, such as:

  • Reducing Sebum Production: One of the primary causes of acne is the overproduction of sebum, an oily substance produced by the skin’s sebaceous glands. Accutane works by decreasing the size and activity of these glands, leading to a significant reduction in sebum production.
  • Preventing Clogged Pores: Excess sebum production can lead to clogged hair follicles, creating an environment where bacteria thrive and acne lesions form. By reducing sebum production, Accutane helps prevent the blockage of pores.
  • Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Accutane has anti-inflammatory properties that help calm the inflammation associated with acne. This is particularly important for cystic acne, which is characterized by deep, painful lesions.
  • Normalizing Skin Cell Turnover: Accutane promotes a more normal shedding of skin cells, preventing them from clogging pores. This contributes to the overall reduction of acne lesions.
  • Targeting Acne-Causing Bacteria: While not its primary mode of action, Accutane can also have an impact on the bacteria that contribute to acne, particularly Propionibacterium acnes. By reducing sebum production, the environment becomes less favorable for bacterial growth.

Side Effects of Accutane

If you are seeking Accutane treatment in Dallas for your stubborn acne, it is important to understand that it does come with some risks and potential adverse effects. This is why many physicians may try exploring other treatment options before prescribing Accutane.

Common side effects of Accutane include:

  • Dry, itching skin
  • Chapped lips
  • Dry eyes
  • Dry nasal passages or mild nosebleeds
  • Joint and muscle pain
  • Skin rash

There is also the smaller risk of more serious side effects, such as pregnancy and birth complications, liver problems, vision and hearing complications, stomach issues, depression, and in very rare cases, life threatening complications. Thinning hair is also a potential side effect but rarely occurs unless Accutane is used for longer than one year.

Balancing The Risks of Accutane

Like virtually all modern medicines, there are risks that come with benefits. Discussing Accutane with your doctor is the best way to determine whether the acne treatment drug is right for you. Together, you and your physician will review your medical history and determine how large of risk the potential adverse effects may have on your health.

At Dallas Dermatology Partners, we understand that choosing the right acne treatment is a significant decision. Our team of experienced dermatologists is dedicated to providing personalized care and strive to be your trusted source for acne treatment in Dallas.

Are Laser Treatments Better Than Facials?

Laser treatments can target and resolve deeper skin issues like pigmentation, scars, and textural irregularities to achieve a smooth, youthful complexion. Facials, on the other hand, can be used in conjunction with lasers to enhance and maintain results. They can also help provide a vibrant surface glow by addressing concerns closer to the skin’s surface, such as dullness and clogged pores.

Let’s dive into how laser treatments at Dallas Dermatology Partners compare to facials and why combining both might be the best way to achieve and maintain glowing skin.

Why Laser Treatments Are More Effective for Deeper Skin Concerns

Laser treatments address underlying skin issues that facials can’t reach. They work by penetrating deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production, and targeting specific skin structures. This approach makes lasers highly effective for reducing pigmentation, fine lines, and other textural issues in fewer sessions.

Lasers like BBL Halo and Moxi stimulate collagen production, which helps to firm and smooth the skin over time. The Moxi laser treatment, in particular, is ideal for treating melasma—a common skin condition that most lasers can worsen but that Moxi laser treatment specifically targets. Lasers offer a powerful solution for long-term skin rejuvenation.

For those dealing with significant sun damage, the BBL + Halo treatment is highly effective, especially for patients over 40. This treatment tackles fine lines, brown spots, and redness, providing deep skin resurfacing that leaves your complexion more even and youthful.

The Microlaser Peel, a lighter option, is great for improving skin texture, offering a quick refresh for smoother skin.

Whether you’re targeting acne, pigmentation, or fine lines, laser treatments can address multiple concerns in fewer sessions than facials, making them a top choice for those looking for more transformative results.

Types of Laser Treatments Available at Dallas Dermatology Partners

At Dallas Dermatology Partners, we offer a variety of laser treatments tailored to individual skin concerns. Here’s a breakdown of some laser types and their best applications:

Ablative vs. Non-Ablative Lasers

By delivering concentrated light energy, ablative lasers remove the outer layers of skin and stimulate collagen growth, making them ideal for deep resurfacing, wrinkle reduction, and scar treatment. Non-ablative lasers, like Moxi, stimulate collagen, and offer a gentler approach with minimal downtime, perfect for anti-aging and maintaining even skin tone.

Fractional Lasers

Fractional lasers, including Halo and Moxi, treat a fraction of the skin at a time, which speeds up healing and minimizes downtime. Fractional technology is ideal for treating fine lines, improving texture, and enhancing overall skin radiance, allowing for high-impact results with lower recovery times.

Specific Laser Technologies

Some of the specific lasers that Dallas Dermatology Partners offers include:

  • Moxi: This treatment is excellent for anti-aging, evening out skin tone, and providing lasting results with just two to three sessions spaced a month apart, followed by maintenance every six months.
  • BBL Halo: This treatment is best performed in fall or winter to minimize downtime and maximize results.
  • BBL Forever Clear: Ideal for acne-prone skin, this laser targets acne-causing bacteria, helping to clear breakouts and reduce inflammation.
  • Micro Laser Peel: The Micro Laser Peel offers light exfoliation and texture improvement without extensive downtime, leaving the skin smoother and more refined.
  • CO2 and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light): CO2 lasers are renowned for wrinkle reduction and deep resurfacing, while IPL is effective for pigmentation and vascular concerns like rosacea. These treatments work well for patients targeting specific cosmetic goals like reducing signs of aging and hyperpigmentation.

Choosing the right treatment or combination of treatments can yield transformative results by addressing unique skin challenges. To learn more about laser skin resurfacing treatment options, contact our team today.

Maintenance with Facials in Dallas: The Perfect Complement to Lasers

While laser treatments deliver dramatic improvements, facials play a crucial role in maintaining those results. Facials focus on surface-level issues, including clogged pores, dullness, and dry skin, making them a valuable addition to any skincare regimen.

At Dallas Dermatology Partners, we offer various facial treatments, including two that pair particularly well with lasers:

  • Diamond Glow Facial: Using microdermabrasion, the Diamond Glow Facial exfoliates the skin, unclogs pores, and provides instant hydration. It’s perfect for brightening your complexion and refreshing skin between laser treatments.
  • Custom Facials: Tailored by our skilled estheticians, our custom facials are designed to meet specific skin needs, whether you’re focused on soothing acne or maintaining a natural glow. Custom facials can help balance your skin between laser sessions, supporting long-lasting results.

Regular facials keep your skin in top condition and may reduce the need for frequent laser treatments by prolonging results and enhancing your skin’s natural glow.

Build Your Ideal Skincare Plan with Dallas Dermatology Partners

Whether you’re looking to correct deeper concerns with lasers or maintain your skin’s health with regular facials, combining both can provide a comprehensive approach to skincare. Laser treatments are ideal for addressing more stubborn issues like pigmentation, fine lines, and acne scars, while facials offer ongoing maintenance for overall skin health.

At Dallas Dermatology Partners, our team can help you design a personalized skincare plan that addresses your unique concerns, using the best combination of lasers and facials for long-lasting results.
