Liquid Facelift

A liquid facelift is a non-surgical rejuvenating procedure that delivers natural results without significant downtime. This minimally invasive treatment is an excellent option for restoring age-related volume loss, smoothing out fine lines, and contouring the face and jawline. Whether you are bothered by sagging jowls, under-eye bags, or want to look as young as you feel, Dallas Dermatology Partners can develop a personalized treatment plan to help you attain your goals.

When sculpting and lifting specific facial features, this non-surgical procedure uses a combination of cosmetic injectables, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and Kybella.

What Can a Liquid Facelift Treat?

Those who want a more rested and refreshed appearance may benefit from this in-office procedure, which can be modified to address a broad range of issues, including:

  • Crow’s feet
  • Deep forehead creases
  • Facial volume loss
  • Marionette lines
  • Fine wrinkles around the mouth
  • Sagging jawline
  • Under-eye hollows
  • Mild facial skin laxity
  • Jowls and submental fullness

About the Liquid Facelift Procedure

To minimize potential discomfort during the procedure, your dermatologist will first apply a topical anesthetic. The exact sequence of injectables will vary from patient to patient, depending on goals and desired results. The procedure lasts anywhere from 20-45 minutes. Most patients will benefit from wrinkle-relaxing injections of neuromodulators, like Botox or Dysport and Jeaveau, whose effects can last 4-6 months.

At Dallas Dermatology Partners, our liquid facelift procedure typically includes dermal fillers to smooth and plump up areas of the face that lose volume with age. One of our favorite options for liquid facial rejuvenation is Sculptra-- a compound that promotes collagen synthesis and lasts up to two years. Those with prominent nasolabial folds and sunken cheeks are good candidates for Juvederm, a versatile hyaluronic acid-based filler that replenishes volume for up to 18 months. Bothered by short, vertical creases between your brows? Glabella lines or “11s” are easily smoothed with injections of Restylane-- another tried and true HA-filler that can also be used to enhance thin lips.

Our dermatologists are experts and know the best techniques for giving our patients naturally beautiful results. After the procedure, it is not uncommon to experience some redness, swelling, and slight bruising for a couple of days at the injection sites. Remember that depending on your treatment plan, it may take several weeks to see your final results.

Kybella dissolves the submental fat located under your chin for a slimmer, more youthful-looking profile. Short of liposuction, this is the most effective way to eliminate a double chin and contour a jawline. Most patients benefit from a series of Kybella treatments, and maximum results are apparent after three months. Once the fat cells are dissolved, they do not grow back-- the results are permanent.

The best candidates are patients in good health who want to correct mild to moderate signs of aging like expression lines, volume loss, and sagging contours without the risks and recovery associated with surgery. There is no ideal age for this procedure, and it can be customized to suit both men and women.

The final cost of a liquid facelift will be determined by the quantity and types of injectables used to address your concerns. The skill and experience of your dermatologist and geographical location will also factor into the price.
