A handheld device, guided by computer technology, is placed over the skin. The Contour TRL scans each area of skin before delivering precise laser energy that quickly evaporates outer skin cells. The entire procedure can last anywhere from 20 minutes to one hour, depending on the size of the area being treated. A simple micro laser peel under eyes may take just 15 minutes, while the face and chest together can last upwards of one hour.

What Is Recovery Like After a Sciton Micro Laser Peel?

After a BBL micro laser peel, the treated skin will be red, tight, and feel sunburned. Patients can expect up to four days of skin peeling. It’s important to follow post-treatment instructions, avoid picking at peeling skin, and use the recommended moisturizer and cleanser until the recovery is complete.
