What to Expect with a Moxi Treatment?

This non-ablative laser is gentle enough to be used any time of year. Though anesthetic isn’t necessary for this “lunchtime” rejuvenating treatment, we generally use a topical numbing cream beforehand to ensure patient comfort. Treatment times are usually less than 20 minutes but may be longer if the chest, arms, or other areas of the body are being treated.

Afterward, patients may experience mild redness, swelling, and a sandpaper-like texture in the treated areas.

Minimal Downtime? IS there Aftercare?

Moxi treatments are gentle, but the skin will be sensitive afterward. For this reason, we recommend avoiding makeup or topical products for 24 hours. During the first few days, it’s essential to keep the skin moisturized as the body regenerates new, healthy skin cells. Redness and swelling dissipate quickly, and impressive results are noticeable within four to five days. As always, using broad-spectrum sunscreen is imperative to protect skin from UV damage.
